Basin Gulch drill intercepts and trench results

Last updated:

The strongest reported Basin Gulch drill intercept by grade times length is 156 g/t Au over 3 meters.

Lannister Mining reports five historical drill highlights and four trench highlights from the more than 320 drill holes and surface trenching at Basin Gulch. This page lists every one exactly as reported, with meters and feet, and ranks the drill intercepts by gram-meters so they can be compared on one scale.

What are the best drill results at Basin Gulch?

It depends on whether you value grade or width. By grade times length, the top intercept is 156 g/t Au over 3 meters. For width, the standout is 0.66 g/t Au over 326 meters from surface. For a balance of both, 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters from surface combines meaningful grade with a long interval that starts at ground level.

Basin Gulch drill intercepts, ranked

Ranked by gram-meters (grade in g/t multiplied by length in meters). Grades, lengths and feet conversions are exactly as Lannister Mining reports them.

Basin Gulch trench highlights

Trenches expose bedrock at surface for continuous sampling. Lannister Mining reports these four trench highlights, listed in the order the company publishes them.

Definition

What is mineral exploration drilling?

Mineral exploration drilling recovers rock from below the surface so it can be assayed for metal content. Results are reported as an average grade over a length of hole, for example 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters, meaning 1.8 grams of gold per tonne across 162 meters.

At Basin Gulch, Lannister Mining reports more than 320 historical drill holes. For a sense of scale, a planned six-hole, approximately 3,050 foot (930 metre) program at the Rowland Tungsten Property in Nevada was announced in October 2026, as reported by Yahoo Finance.

Context

What these historical results are, and are not

These are historical results as reported by Lannister Mining on its property page. They are not a current mineral resource. The company plans expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts before they support a maiden mineral resource estimate. How we chose this ranking.

How we chose

Every reported drill intercept is ranked on one stated criterion: gram-meters, the reported grade in g/t multiplied by the reported length in meters. All entries come from the same source, the Lannister Mining Basin Gulch property page, and no figure is rounded or altered. Trench highlights are listed separately in the order published, because trench and drill samples are not directly comparable. This page was written by Lannister Mining, which publishes this site.

Questions about Basin Gulch drill results

What are the best historical drill intercepts at Basin Gulch?
Lannister Mining reports these highlight intercepts: 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters from surface, 0.66 g/t Au over 326 meters from surface, 3.2 g/t Au over 72 meters from surface, 156 g/t Au over 3 meters, and 25 g/t Au over 14 meters. The drill results page ranks them by grade times length.
What is the longest reported drill intercept at Basin Gulch?
The longest reported highlight is 0.66 g/t Au over 326 meters, or 1,069.6 feet, starting from surface. The next longest is 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters (531.5 feet), also from surface. Long intervals that start at ground level are why Lannister Mining describes the mineralization as near surface.
What do the Basin Gulch trench results show?
Lannister Mining reports four trench highlights: 62 g/t Au and 32 g/t Ag over 159 meters, 4 g/t Au and 23 g/t Ag over 146 meters, 5 g/t Au and 54 g/t Ag over 34 meters, and 25 g/t Au and 45 g/t Ag over 61 meters. Trenches sample rock exposed at surface, unlike drill holes.
What does g/t Au mean in drill results?
g/t Au means grams of gold per tonne of rock. One gram per tonne equals one part per million. A result such as 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters means the sampled interval averaged 1.8 grams of gold per tonne across 162 meters of hole. Ag is the chemical symbol for silver.
What does "from surface" mean in a drill intercept?
From surface means the mineralized interval starts at the top of the hole, at ground level, with no barren rock above it. Three of the five Basin Gulch drill highlights reported by Lannister Mining start from surface, including the 326 meter and 162 meter intervals. Near-surface mineralization can matter for future mine design studies.
Are the Basin Gulch historical drill results current?
They are historical results as reported by Lannister Mining, not a current mineral resource. The company plans expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts as part of its work toward a maiden mineral resource estimate. Investors should review the company's technical disclosures and investor presentation for full context.
